All products can be delivered in any sized tip trucks catering for small to the very large jobs, whether you are looking at 1 tonne or 100 tonne we can accomodate for your unique needs. All product can be delivered in 1 tonne bulk bags and delivered to site making it simple to contain product on smaller sites or even multiple story sites.

Our drivers and operators are adequately trained and licensed and will always operate according to worksafe standards. Aggregates

Materials In The Raw proudly offers a large range of aggregates and gravels supplies for Sydney landscapers, builders and pavers. We carry aggregates ranging in size from 10mm up to 300mm perfect for, drainage gravel, retaining walls, concreting, garden paths, rural driveways, temporary construction driveways, filling gabion baskets and large drainage applications.

Aggregates are used widely in landscaping, building and construction, but their purpose can often be misunderstood. Generally though, aggregates can be defined in two ways; those with a range of particle sizes (fines) and those with a uniform particle size (without fines).

The Types of Aggregates We Offer:

- 10mm Blue Metal Aggregate

- 20mm Blue Metal Aggregate

- 10mm Recycled Aggregate

- 20mm Recycled Aggregate

- Recycled Road Base

- Decorative Gravels

Aggregates with fines are used to build a solid stable base and as such are used for pathways, driveways and construction bases. This includes products such as roadbase which has some flexibility for ground movement. Metal dust or crusher dust are cheaper recycled alternatives but do not tolerate as much ground movement and may crack over time.

Products with a uniform particles size include blue metal and recycled aggregates. One of the uses for blue metal is mixing with sand and cement to make concrete. The larger sized blue metals and recycled aggregates (14mm and 20mm) are used in conjunction with slotted agricultural pipe to provide drainage behind retaining walls. Also in the aggregates range Materials in the Raw sells corefill. Corefill is a blend of blue metal and coarse sand. This ready made product is used for filling blocks when building structural retaining and block walls.
